I was windering if anyone knew of any free software that allows you to slow down music without compramising the key and pitch. Lookin to figure out some faster solos.

Windows Media Player 9 for Windows XP allows you to do that. This program is pretty good too: http://www.seventhstring.com/xscribe/overview.html . You can change the key, slow it down, speed it up, etc.

windows mediaplayer 9 or 10 has a "plugin" that can be downloaded or sometimes even comes with it pre-installed from microsoft website, also Intervideo 4 can play DVD or CD at half speed.

Any editing program should work. Do you want to record it (edit) or just hear it slower?
