I have no idea how someone could think of something as crazy as power cosmics, but knowing that Joe has been playing around 36 years, I guess someone could think of that, NOT ME :P

it's a classic example of pitch axis... each chord (arpeggio) is pretty much a change to a different key, all with a common root of A... definitely a masterpiece of composition & playing, imho ;)

most of them are 11th ? where is the root of A ? can you explain ?

Every arpeggio that makes up the (original) Power Cosmic has a root of A. The two tracks on EOC are based on that original track.

Turkey Man is a completely different track.

EDIT:
i take that back... sorry, i hadn't listened to it in a while... not all the roots are A... it's definitely a pitch axis lesson though!
