We've got the track listing completed, we have all but one of the graphics finalised, and we're waiting on the liner notes. We think the CD should be available by the end of the month.

Naturally we'll let you all know more news as soon as we have it!

Before the CD is released there'll be the updated website, MP3 clips of the new tracks and more merchandise in the shop.

Can't access the t2j site... are the graphics already available?

not yet - i need to update the site... i'm going to archive the current site, update the shop, upload the new graphics, and upload mp3 clips... give me a couple of weeks ;)

TOALL: this is a T2JCD update! I've finished the mastering, and I've organised the track order, and we have a pretty good, wide ranging group of tracks on this album. Anyway, I should be close to sending this on to DCK and getting this thing into the last stage of production. Everybody excited!!

The people on the CD have the option to, yes.

I think this time around I'll not wait for all the bios to be in before I upload that area of the site. It'd be a shame if we had nothing there just because one or two people didn't send me their info ;)

Hey, I heard the release date was going to be January 6th or so...

I was wondering if the FINAL track listing in ORDER was available?? Any artwork??

where'd you hear Jan 6th? it's news to me...

i have the final cd with the final track order sitting about 18 inches to my right... i haven't listened to it yet (it arrived this morning shortly before i went to work and i just got back) for flow so we can't divulge the order just yet...

artwork is done EXCEPT there will be text over the graphics and so we can't show you that yet either!

the new cd sounds GREAT!!! the 18 tracks flow really nicely and it's a lot different to the first one... we're still waiting on the liner notes so as soon as we get them i'll be able to share the graphics... and i need to find some time to update the site :huh:

i am working on getting the contributors' bios and photos into the database, the new look is pretty much finished, still need to create clips of each track.... things look to be ready for a release by the end of Feb :)

Dave, is the T2J cd going to be announced on Joe's website? Do you think we can get Jon Luini to maybe help promote it? I've been telling everyone I know, when the cd is released you have to buy a copy. So I should have quite a few people picking up the cd soon..

I think Luini helped us with advertising last time so I'm pretty sure he'll help again... I think he had a notice on the front page of satriani.com, he even helped organise voting for covers and titles last time :)
