In my case, no... I 've never tryed smoking pot and play guitar after that... but i'll guess it would turn out bad (shaky legs etc, haha) With a couple beers in the stomach I loose my concentration.

Snesk - May 30, 2005 01:10 PM (GMT)

no, just the only voter ^_^
and snesk, the poll is a bit illogical imo, it does contain the Netherlands but doesn't contain Germany or France, which are much bigger countries :P

Ok...folks I am from Texas...yeah yeah yeah oil wells and cowboys...well where I live now...yes...I see working cowboys everyday...the real ones...the ones that pull up in front of a store with trailer full of horses...and they are wearing spurs...in the store!
If you can find Corpus Christi Texas...and you can find Victoria Texas on a map...I am half way between the two in a little town called Woodsboro. I am 20 miles from the bays of the Gulf of Mexico.
We have 1,200 people in our town...no stop lights...no night life. Yeah the local beer joint...but it's all a bunch of rednecks...and I mean hard core rednecks...white trash.
Sorry guy's I don't fit in with that bunch...
The industry in this area is farming...we grow cotton and corn and sorghum...huge fields compared to what I saw when I was in Germany...my town is surrounded with fields.
I live in BFE...
Peace my brothers...
Blessings All
Todd
Eric - June 1, 2005 06:30 AM (GMT)
hey todd, woodsboro update: it has 1685 people :P (according to NASA world wind)
I'll post a satelite pic today, cool to see :)
Shakkalath - June 2, 2005 11:02 PM (GMT)
Eric... :D ...Dude that is the "inflated" version of the reality... :w00t:
This should give you an idea...I went to High School Graduation this year as I had a niece graduating...the class size...a whopping 30 kids :w00t: graduated!
Yeah 1600 and what ever looks good on paper but it aint the truth...LOL Americans and their "blown up ego"...chuckles...then you add the "Texas" thing and that pretty much answers that question...ROTFLMAO... :P
Blessings my friend...

World Wind is the best toy a man could ever have:D
I can't wait for mankind to invent flying cars, meals in pill-form, colonies on Mars and an ultra advanced NASA World Wind :P
Satch Boogie - June 4, 2005 10:44 PM (GMT)
From good old England :beer2: Home of the lager louts!! Well actually to be precise, I was born in Nairobi, Kenya and moved to England when I was 2 years old. Unfortunately I have no memories of Kenya.
grijalva - June 6, 2005 05:46 AM (GMT)

Anywhoo, I live in sunny Southern California, USA. Orange County, to be more specific. A county of 3,000,000 people.
Eric - June 10, 2005 06:39 PM (GMT)

franc666 - June 13, 2005 06:58 PM (GMT)
Canada isn't in the choice :(
Well I am from Brossard, a 75,000 people town just the other side of the St-Laurence river from Montreal (15 mins ride to get there). It seems I'm lucky there are neat shops in Montreal where I can get pretty much everything :).

Hey guys.. I live Des Moines, Iowa (USA)
I grew up in Seattle and moved to Iowa a few years ago. I thought my wife said she wanted to move to Idaho and thought it would be easy to move back.. Dang!!!
Hey Axeshredder.... I use to live kinda close to your area, I lived in Waltham, MA for a year.
Des Moines isnt too bad accept JOE SATRIANI doesn't come here. He did once a long time ago "Allegidly" :(

Orange County? That reminds me of "American Chopper" with O.C.C. (Orange County Choppers). That's a damn good show. Hopefully I'm not the only one who knows what the hell I am going on about here!!
Eric - June 16, 2005 02:35 PM (GMT)
+1!
I didn't want to start about it cause I thought you wouldn't know the anyway... but he! I know them! From Discovery :P
BobDaNob - June 16, 2005 03:42 PM (GMT)
And the movie. LOL Let's not forget that comedy movie with Jack Black: 'Orange County'.
Or the teen drama 'The O.C.' which takes place up the road in Newport Beach and the reality series on MTV 'Laguna Beach', which takes place right here in the same town I'm in right now.
We get quite a bit of publicity due to all the millionaires, important companies and picturesque scenery.
Oh yeah, have you guys heard about the average home price here in Laguna Beach? 1.48 million dollars.
Yep. 1.48 million dollars. One place was even on the market to rent for $50,000 a month.
WTF? What house is worth 50k a month?? Who the hell makes 50k a month? Holy crap...
Eric - June 16, 2005 05:25 PM (GMT)
Yup, I've heard of all those series :)
And those prices are over the top... but I'd live to have a house on the westcoast, at the coast... man! Running every morning from your garden into the sea :P
And 50K a month? There are hotel rooms that are rented for the tiny amount of 13K a NIGHT!
'Now that's holy crap! :o
BobDaNob - June 16, 2005 05:56 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it'd be so nice to wake up and take a jog across the beach. :) Not to mention the fabulous sunsets every night.
Now I just have to find me a seriously badass job. LOL My fiancee's dad makes 100k a year and still can't afford it.
13k a night? Sheesh. The Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point might come close to that since that's where the rockstars and actors stay when they come through but I have no idea.
EDIT: I just checked the homepage for the Ritz in Dana Point and it won't give you the prices unless you call. LOL That alone tells me all I need to know about the prices. It's one of those 'if you have to know how much it costs you can't afford it' type things.
Eric - June 16, 2005 06:18 PM (GMT)
yeah, the sunsets... I love those! I've made some pictures of sunsents in Istria (Kroatia) when I was on vacation there, I just couldn't get enough of it!
check this one:
http://home.versatel.nl/fam.hensen/DSC01629VERKLEIND.jpgit's just one of many pics B)
Do you happen to have any sunset pics? ;)
BobDaNob - June 16, 2005 06:38 PM (GMT)
Actually, I have one as my wallpaper. LOL My fiancee just HAD to stop the car one evening to take a picture of it. Fortunately, she turned out some stunning pictures of the sunset with Catalina Island in the background.
UNFORTUNATELY, they are on my computer...and all it has done is beep continously whenever I turn it on for about the past half week now. It's either a motherboard problem or a CPU problem...either way I'm screwed until I figure out exactly what's wrong and manage to find some money to fix it.
But I'll be sure to post them once I get it up and running again. :) They're really nice, especially if you love sunsets.
Eric - June 17, 2005 09:04 AM (GMT)
Cool! And I do love sunsets... :rock2:
GGoTr - June 22, 2005 05:39 PM (GMT)
