Agreed mine arrived yesterday, I like it :) Software is not too user friendly but it sounds great and is a sweet little interface - especially for those with laptops.

meh software wasnt that hard to learn, i figured out how to use it in like 2 days, what i really liked about it was how u can record like parts of a song and mix it up other different loops u recorded, only reason why i started useing it instead of adobe audition

Um, you should be able to do that with any good multitracker...

@Drix, not hard to use, just not very well designed! I haven't started playing with Abelton yet, been using Audacity.

Hm,... I've played with it for a while. I still think as far as sftware goes nothing beats Guitar Rig.
This year will bring many good software modeling amps. Amplitube 2 is allmoust out, plus one more bundle that will wipe out all software modelars for the HiGain sound. (I forgot the name :) )

the guitarport is good aswell... i think this new one has more powerful software though?
anyone used both Rifftracker and this new stuff? :)

The TonePort is designed more for complete recording including bass, vocals etc, whereas the GuitarPort is for playing along with backing tracks / recording guitar tracks. Rifftracker doesn't work with the TonePort unfortunately :(
The TonePort comes with a seriously disabled version of Abelton Live, which is an brilliant recording package with built in drum machine and a really flexible approach to recording.
