Hello, here is a good Satriani site that has been in operation since February 1998. Please go and check it out. I have had a great response from fans over the years, and so please help me to improve it still. Cheers all. D

David Dasher, cool site... the effects pics are outdated though :( they don't agree with the text (from the recent Joe post) I know it sucks... we only get what we're given

also, Joe doesn't use the Ultimate Octave on Cool #9 - it's just a Whammy ;)

just thought I'd point that out ;)

but hey... what a treasure trove of information!!! And all in one place!!!! soooo cool! :)

So Brian May was the third G for a while in G3 for Europe? I never heard that!

And I never heard that Joe taught Petrucci!

and SRV requested Joe to open for him? Man that's outstanding!!!!! anyone have a copy of their acoustic collaboration?????

Your Influences page, the bit about Wes Montgomery, is wonderful

Great site, keep up the excellent work!

Hi PhryDom,

Thanks for your cool comments. It was noted to me recently that Petrucci wasn't actually taught by Joe. Not sure how I got that mixed up. Brian May, according to Joe, joins the G3 guys usually whenever they hit the UK.

Thanks for the tips about the gear. Yeah, A general lack of current picks for his gear is a prob, but whenever newer ones show, I try to get them up there.

Thanks again.

Cheers,

D.
