damn leechers! Grrr! lol

That was pretty cool, I liked the idea of the "singer" guitar having a clean sound with the solo guitar going crazy in the backround.

Yer hank marvin (Clean guitar) is an amazing instrumentalist. I would put his sound on his insturmental albums like eric johnson sorta.

Hank Marvin is my favourite guitar player of all time and the man who inspired me to play the guitar...many moons ago....His tone, technique and that sound is amazing....Heīs very similar to Satch in that many people can play their songs but many can actually sound like them.Anyone interested in hearing Hank Marvin and Brian Mayīs version of We Are The Champions should check out Hank Marvinīs Into The Light Album.....Rock :rock2:

Yeah Hank Marvin is an incredible guitarist. He has one of the most unique techniques which is very important in a musician.I have all his stuff except 4 Shadows Albums...Specs Appeal,Tasty,Change Of Address and XXV so if you know anywhere I could get these albums that would be amazing...
Iīll have a song on my album which is a tribute to Hank Marvin and Itīll be called Nivramīs Moonlight Shadows... :rock2:

Yey! :D i hevent listened to that much shadows but i have listens to lots of Hank instrumental albums. And i was totally blown away. the first album i got was Heartbeat album and i was like :o it totally blew me away. i wish i was as good as him lol hes just so perfect i mean i never ever hear him fuck up on the guitar.

Yeah and Iīll tell ya what amazes me even more is the fact that heīs tone is crystal clear...no distortion only on selected guitar solos.I love that Heartbeat album...especially the track Rocket Man...and Witchita Lineman :rock2:

AverageJoeguitarist - February 2, 2006 08:49 PM (GMT)
You do know that that album was instrumental covers of original songs only about 2 are his on that album...

Rocklegend - February 3, 2006 01:19 PM (GMT)
Yeah of course I do.I have been listening to Hank Marvin for around 15yrs now. There is more of his own material on the previous album Into The Light and he has some originals on the Guitar Player album which I just love so much...all acoustic...Iīve seen him live in Concert on his own and with the Shadows.I have to say I perfer him in the Shadows playing live...thereīs just something amazing when he is with the other Shadows Members...Do you have any Shadows albums...If not you should get some of The Shadows music from the 70īs as itīs quite experimental...They did write alot of their own stuff in the 80īs also...Hank Marvinīs the man :rock2:
