well first of all i would recommend an mp3 recording before even thinking of a video...as my experience has taught me.....but there are some tricky timings in this tune that would make me definately say...dont do this as a first cover...try something easier....till you learn how to record without it getting in the way of the music...lighting, mixing, tone, performance are the major issues you will experience...but if you really think your capable then go for it..good luck

i wouldnt worry about compression ...lol

Hey buddy, if your interested in recording and programs have a surf 'round the gear disscussion boards, they should answer your questions on that subject. And if you feel confident in your playing then sure, go ahead and record but if its your first time a video could be pushing it? But if thats what you want then go for it!

I look forward to hearing/seeing it...

Hi
Yeah this is very tricky song , i can see that, was listen to the song few times b4 i decided to try it (i was like that must be easy) but no its not, again joe satriani is genuis , his sounded easy on this and its not easy to play it, thats is the gr8 about joe, anyway i try to push my self on the guitar ,stuff i cant play smooth atm, i try to beat them anyway, also i find that when i try somthing hard and its not going smooth, i leave it lil bit aside and when come back after few hours or days,i can play it beter and about 50% more acuurate, than loop again if its still hard.....til i get it total.

i love time machine since i first heard it (when rls's), so i keep trying, also i try other tune thats r easier............

btw Axeshredder,i also saw ur video cover for it as refernce , and must say u did it perfect!! :)

tnx Leroy and Axeshredder for help
