hey guys wassup

Have you heard anything from our little fella Steve Vai's Rythm Guitar player??

i could download some songs from him, and i have to say that i like it a lot, he uses some synth drums mixed with real drums, and stuff
It is clear the Steve Vai influence, they have catchy themes and very groovie ones ("Last Run")

if you have the chance, giv it a try

man, after seeing dave do two-handed harmony parts with steve and tony macalpine i wouldn't call him a "rhythm guitar player"

i've not heard his solo album, i never went in search of it because i thought his solo spot on the vai tours was just a little expansion of the EVH Cathedral thing... anyone who has heard his album care to review it for us? :)

Dave's album (Shove The Sun Aside) is one of my favorite instrumental albums atm. It's really great and you shoud DEFINATLY check it out. My favorite songs are Tourmaline (how can you not like those harmonized guitar parts) and Ghost of Denmark St.

It's a good album. I passed it up at first because the soundclips didn't do much for me, but I finally gave it a shot last Christmas, and I don't regret doing so now. Dave is a real good player, and I could see him making it pretty well after Vai. Plus, doesn't he use a 7-string?

Dave is a great player and a great songwriter and I love his STSA cd but if I had to, I'd choose Tony MacAlpine over him anyday, that's just me. B)

My son got an autographed Dave W album for his birthday last weekend....we've played it several times since then...it's really great! Dave's Party Piece, though short, is really fun and the kind of song you have to CRANK UP to listen to!! :D
It's an album well worth having if you're a fan of instrumental guitar music!!
