I love George, some of his solo albums are pretty good. He is definitely one of my all time favorites.

Huge fan - I consider his first lead break on Tony Macalpine's "Tears of Sahara" one of my all-time favorite solos.
His phrasing is just so wonderfully loose. It's like he's incapable of playing a perfectly straight phrase - it's hugely inspiring. :rock2:

Very cool relaxed player imo , and he has a very strange pinky finger lol

probably one of the top 5 guitarists on this continent.more ''modern'' sounding than schenker, although schenker is more consistent in recent recordings. but liynch is the closest thing to van halen style. he has that true ''metal '' sound also.

George Lynch was one of my influences in the 80's, i absoloutly hated don dokkens voice but there music was preety decent . I liked his style quite a bit.Full of tention and realese. I liked him with macalpine on "tears of the sahara" also. I got into lynch mob later (wiked sensations)and they were good too, itwas dokken but heavier and without "don", which reminds me of a funny story.
it was in the mid80's,my friends and i were at monsters of rock in philly,it was an all day event ,lots of great bands. we are down on the field of the stadium, about a hundred feet from the stage. everyone is"camped out " ,it was hot as hell down there and the mood was tense. So dokken goes on and people are not into it , just ignoring them . they stop between the first 2 songs and it was rather silent and my friend who is the loudest person ive ever met ,real tall 6'7 skinny guy with big hair.....shouts out " GOOOOOO HOOOOOME DON!!!" he had to hear it  , it just echoed thru the stadium it seems , everyone around us was rollin . great concert.(what i remember of it) ;)

I love Tierra Del Fuego from the Sacred Groove CD one of my all time favorite instrumentals, Mr. Scary from Back for the Attack is also killer. Something about his attack and phrasing is just awesome. It's menacing, but still melodic and kind of poppy. He is a great guitar player!!

George Lynch is a fantastic player. His stuff with Dokken, Lynch Mob and his work with Tony MacAlpine on Maximum Security is awesome. B)
