Title: Rock Instrumentals

Wikipedia has a great entry that has a good list of instrumental songs on rock albums. Someone needs to up date the Satriani section, though.

I wish I had this resource when I was doing my instrumental guitar radio show, back in college. I used to search lyric sites for all sorts of bands - since many lyric sites list all songs by a band/artist, they would usually just leave the page for these songs blank, or some helpful sites would actually denote the song as "instrumental". I was able to find lots of great stuff to buy this way, but a list like this would have been great.

The link is in the original post - "list of instrumental songs" is hyperlinked (links really should be differentiated better here).

I found it very amusing that ABBA was the first band list for Rock Instrumentals.

:P

It's Wikipedia, running on a wiki. You can edit it yourself - if you don't see a song, go ahead and add it!
