I found where joe get's the hats! I was up all night but I did it! I was able to get in touch this morning with the company that constructs the hats and if your sitting down and holding on to somthing I'll tell you what your going to spend! Ok if you want the hat, you are looking at $500-$600 depending on the colors and patterns. I was crying as my visa burnt in my bare hand!!!!! Well if anybody wants one e-mail me and I'll give you the number to the shop! :wacko:

Does this company have a website or something? I mean there's really no way to buy the hat online?

$500 - $600! I like Joe's hat but not for that kind of money! I would be too scared to where it anywhere.

One of the many times Joe was asked why he shaved his head - he said he was tired of wearing hats all the time to cover up his receding hairline. Guess he hadn't tried out the $600 one then ^_^

No, it's the price, I've paid mine 600 USD too, but now it's impossible to get them, because the manufacturer is out now ...

I think I'm the only one who have the true joe hat (signed by joe satriani) in europe, so very HARD to find ... Good luck to find it !

i like joe and his hat but 600?..really now..i can hire a seamstress and buy the material for half that easy...and are the loose threads part of the look..lol...looks like its about to unravel..lol

To have the same result, it is very difficult, the manufacture of the hat is complex and the good fabrics should be found… Then, patience to attempt it yourself… It's a choice! :)

well i guess i dont want a hat that much and yes it would be quite job...but just give a seamstres a cheap bucket hat and tell her to replicate it with the material provided...with the ability of unassembling the cheap hat will do good for cutting patterns and sewing techniques...just finding a nice pattern...africa got some reall loud ones ...jamaica too.....make 2 and give Joe 1....he'd be impressed i think if you said you made it

I guess when you do not have hair you are willing to pay that money for a hat... thanks god i'm still with hair in my head heehe

the most important questions about the hat:
will it let me play like Joe?
will I have his theoretical knowledge of the guitar
will I have his phrasing and emotion in my playing
will I turn into an alien during solos.

if no to any of the above, then, forget that hat :P

buying satch's gear, very possible, he is a person that knows what he is doing on that side.

Being one of Joe's fans does not mean you have to be ridiculous. I think Joe will be sorry if he hears anyone of them buying a 500 or 600 $ hat because it's just a thing he wears.

it may not even be the same company. joe could of got it from a cheap as shop lol

The hat was made by and bought from the same people who make some of Joe's hats, and the label inside the hat is signed by Joe. It doesn't say it is or ever was one of Joe's personal hats.

It's a similar hat that joe wear ... But not Joe Satriani's Hat, of course.
But the same factory, authentic ! :)

They are manufactured in Alabama ... But The factory is dissolved now ... They are no longer produced
