Title: Joe Playin On My Bday, think I Can Get An Autograph

Jairoglyph - April 27, 2006 05:39 AM (GMT)
This may 6th will be my 22nd bday and Joe is playing the Wiltern here in Los Angeles. I have pit tickets, but was REALLY wanting to get his signature on my ibanez js1000 (would mean the WORLD to me). Any chance of me doing this? I went to see g3 2003 at the Greek Theatre and coudnt get joe or steve's signatures as they did not appear after the show for such (only yngwie was signing stuff).

Best way to guarantee a signature is to purchase the Platinum Package. Joe will sign pretty much anything. And he is one heck of a nice guy to meet. Well worth the price.

they're already sold out :(

Any other ways maybe?

Jairoglyph....go to www.satriani.com and register yourself as attending the show, then you'll be entered in the aftershow pass drawing. Go to the road page and you'll find a link there, if you're a registered member of that site you can enter the drawing.
Other than that, you can try waiting out by the tour bus after the show, but be prepared to wait a couple of hours, and even that isn't a guarantee that you'll get to speak with Joe...but he tries really hard to take some time at the bus if he can to talk with the fans there, sign stuff, take pictures, etc. He's a sweetheart! Good luck! :)

got it registered and everything. if I could just get him to sign my guitar that would be so awesome.

NO!!! The winners were picked, and I didn't win :( I'm definitely willing to wait, does it really take more than 2hrs for him to come out to do autographs?

That's one of the downers of the Platinum Package system - if for one reason or other you can't or won't cough up an extra $200 or so for prefferential treatment, then it's substantially harder to meet Joe and get an autograph.
