in that guitar magazine interview , JS said those ''300'' discs didnt have a melody to play off of. he said ''we'' , meaning his level of artistry , don't care about little tricks , he wants to know where the music is going. he said if you don't know , how do you expect anyone else to. he also said Jeff beck is the one hed most like to take ''lessons'' from.says beck always redefines what it is to be jeff beck.. he said ''is it his diet''!

the funny part to that..I dont hear much melody in the new beck stuff.

I am a beck fanatic...but i dont hear an abundance of melody

i was thinking of checking out some of the recent jeff beck anyway , when i read that interview. i will check out the ''jeff'' album and see what i think. my favorite is the yardbirds and that song ''starcycle''.
