I heard that Joe used to record with different guitars, like Teles and Strats, besides his JS signatures. I was wondering if anyone knows whether he used a lot of Strats on SBM on some songs (like You saved my life, Chords of life and What breaks a heart)? I really like those tones in the beginning of these songs: some distortion, but really clear and mellow... :rolleyes: ^_^

From like FIABD onwards it must be JS all the way.

Probably got the volume rolled off a tad on a JS1200 for them songs :cool:

From the video i saw he was using his usual standard JS series of ibanez...
