kinda... according to this news item dated about a year ago, MySpace had [at that time] 43 million members and more hits per day than either Google or AOL. Probably kicks any other social networking site's arse, I reckon ;)

Absolutely. Many people do have music on their sites, but not their own, although these days MySpace are complying with the copyright people and taking stuff down. If you ever see someone's MySpace and there's a track titles "Song Has Been Deleted By The Artist" (or something similar) then it's because MySpace have taken it down for copyright infringement [sigh].

But it's not like Soundclick - you don't have to have music on there if you don't want.

Licklibrary are in the middle of revamping the site and there will be a myspace style bit for your music called lickspace (wonder where they got the name lol) anyway licklibrary are going to have a disclaimer on it so covers will be allowed. Should be operational early January 2007.
