I'm completely hooked on starry night and i've gotten pretty good at the first part of the song. I'm looking for a good tab for the song. Can anyone help me with that?

u know, i actually figured the song on my own, at elaast the first part. i referred the tabs for the chord progression and the solo too.
so try figuring it out on ur own! it aint impossible.

You could use a program like Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net) to slow it down. (In Audacity use the "Change Tempo" effect)

try watching the solo from his G3 performance...its on youtube!!! the only thing different is the outro but the solo is pretty much as per the CD and should give you the idea how to play it...its more or less pentatonic with some blue notes stuck in!

Just abit of advice.. Don't goto UG.com for your tab's. Infact I wouldn't goto any site offering user uploaded tab's. Most are far from what you should actually be playing, I know they may sound similar, but often it just make's playing whatever it is your trying to play even harder. Which isn't good especially for a site dedicated to ALL level's of guitarist's.
Have looked on UG for the track you want, so have done my homework.. & yeh they are pretty much all wrong and satriani's version is much easier to play in my opinion, so if your finding it difficult & a little awkward, you know why lol.
If you need a "correct" version, let me know. But will take some getting used to if you've been playing the UG version's.
