How does Joe do that sorta soothing sound on his guitar at the end of new blues when its all calm and ending .... it sounds like feedback but it also sounds like he's stroking the string with a plectrum very softly creating some sorta cool soothing sound.... any one know what im on about ? I aint got the song at this pc to give a time point on the song...near the end tho

The atmospheric sound sounds like a synth or maybe an eBow to me, and the little grace notes are a muted trumpet (probably synth).
