Hya guys, I was wondering if anyone has heard anythong at all about the next European G3 tour, i know it will be in 2007 but has anyone heard who will be joining Satch this time?? ;)

Id love to see George Lynch or Steve hackett...both of em have the music, the chops and the mojo for a G3

id rather its not someone like Yngwie Malmsteen, though being there would probably be great

hell, it pleases me just to hear about G3 07.
i'd like gilbert / morse / lukather / petrucci (one of them of course) as well as vai and satch, but just to see vai and satch would be awesome.

all this talk about g3 down under is making me excited. it sounds great.

I dont think Vai will be in this years G3,
in mexico it was satch, petruccci and eric johnson

how do you know it will be in 2007? Joe told me he wont be coming over to Europe in 2007. As he does every second summer, he will be recording his new record.

I read it in Guitarist magazine, it had an article with Joe being interviewed. :yes: In response to the whole no Vai in G3 thing, well I always thought G3 was Joe's baby n Steve was just a regular guest guitarist. I know Joe rele wants Eddie Van Halen n Jeff Beck, Ive seen Jeff Beck live n he is an amazing player !! ^_^ I wud love 2 see Nuno Bettencourt and his band join Joe for a European tour...

I also though of two rele good songs for them to play in the G3 Jam :

Big Bad Moon and Rock 'n' Roll ^_^



But whoever Joe brings with him, G3 is gonna be great !! :hyper:

We don't always seem to get a really great guitar player as the 3rd G3'er over here in the UK! (Robert Fripp comes to mind :mad3: )

But we if it could be anyone, then I'd be very pleased if it was either:

Timmons, Nuno, Gilbert, Petrucci, Johnson or Guthrie Govan :)

uk tour planned for joe or g3. He told me that joe and
co are working to organise one for summer next year (2007). He is a reliable source because he has been
touring with Joe since the release of the new album
and is an old friend.
Then when i meant to meet Joe i asked him if there
is any plan for him to come to uk soon, to which he
replied " oh definately". There was a conversation with john iverson
backstage about who will be the next guest on g3. he
said that joe and Co has been really impressed with
two brothers on a acoustic guitar that they saw back
in america. he did give us a name but i cant really
remember.
I really think there is a G3 planned for next year.
