Wow, just got back from meeting Joe for the first time!
What a nice guy!! I waited in line 2.5+ hours to ensure that I saw him. I was so excited and when my turn came (I was about 10th in line), he was really friendly and signed my Surfing Album cover for me.
Here's the proof:

I also thought it might be nice to give him something back in return (as today was his only day off from playing for his entire Australian G3 leg. And get this, Joe himself actually called up this particular music shop and asked if he could come in and spend time with his fans on his only day off!!. What a guy). So before arriving at the music shop, I went and bought Joe two Mambo Surf Shirts. For all of the Aussies on this board, they will know the brand, but for those of you who haven't heard of them (Joe included, as he was asking me "So what does 100% Mambo even mean??") they are a fairly iconic Australian surf design company. He seemed genuinely thankful for the shirts (even though I'm sure he has thousands...) And as I was the first person to actually give him something, he was quite surprised and had a big smile the whole time....but hey, as I now know, that's just Joe being Joe!
Anyway, before I carry on too much more, (I'll scan in the signed cover and show you guys that soon), but for now, my next port of call is the show tomorrow night which I just can't wait for!!
Until then, Viva la Joe!!
