Title: Bbe Sonic Maximizer

al_peggio - February 7, 2007 01:23 PM (GMT)
I've heard alot of ravings about this lately. Supposedly it makes the sound clearer and more present in a mix. It sound like something I could use in my recordings, anyone here who knows how this works?

I don't know how these work, but I want one!

Go to the BBE site & read up...go to the Vai website - people rave about BBE products

Hope this helps

I've got one and it sounds terrific. It subtly alters your sound so that the trebles are more crisp and clear without being fizzy or thin. That said, don't expect it to radically alter your sound though you will find it brings out more high end harmonics, etc.

I think it DOES alter your sound, but in a good, transparent way. I have owned the Sonic Stomp for a couple of years and it does give your sound more bite...The best word I could use to describe it is "richer". I always have it on.... After you compare your sound with it on to your sound with it off, you will never turn it off..:)

^ I must agree with Satch-mo, the Sonic Stomp is fantastic. I've had mine for a year or so and it made a huge difference to my tone; it made it so much more... ALIVE! I can't stand to play without it now.
