It's February, and this an email up date from yours truly Joe
Satriani... Let me tell you first, that Steve Vai and I had a fine
and good time playing "Super Colossal" for the Grammy Pre-Tel
audience at the Grammys this past weekend. Here's a mini photo as

and give out awards for 97 of the 108 Grammy categories. These are
not televised, mostly because it would make show about 7 hours long!
It's low key, but, taken quite seriously, by some.
Although a good time was had by all, I did in fact not win a Grammy.
Yes, for the fourteenth time! But, many fine people did, which is
good.
While sitting through the three hour Grammy show I got a chance to
chat with Jack White and the Raconteurs, Susan Tedeschi, Nelly and
other notables. Some say they caught a glimpse of me on TV wearing
my black hat. There's a funny story about that, but I'll get to
that some other time...
The news on the G3 tour is that we will offer "CLUB JOE," a new
meet and greet experience. "CLUB JOE" guests will receive a 60
minute Q&A and autograph session with me, a personal photograph, a
guided tour of my on-stage "Guitar World' and an autographed copy
of my new double DVD "Satriani Live". Plus, two lucky guests will
be brought back onstage to watch the show's encore from the side
of the stage!
John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert and I are really looking forward to
going head to head, toe to toe and string to string all across the
USA and Canada. Come on out and help us write a new chapter in G3
history!
