Yeah. As you can see it is actually pretty old. They probably finished it.
Alhtough Kirk is my favourite guitarist as you can see I believe that even my solos have more idea into them than this one. Besides, with the first or the second bass guitar it still does sound awfull to me...

I actually never liked them or any of there songs. And this didn't change my opinion, bad is what I would say.

i dont like any of their music anymore so i can't really judge this song apart from the others. this did nothing for me though

I like Metallica and still think this was shit. Espacially their rythms were really cool in the early albums, but the leads were great too, but this was ridiculous. The singing and the lyrics were horrible and the guitar work simply boring

That was horrible, I dont like 'this' kind of style.
I like Metallica from '86-'98 (load, reload, garage 1, mop, black album).

They are flogging a dead horse. They just need to realize that Metallica is over and finished, the more 'new' stuff they release, the more bad reviews and they aren't doing the Metallica name any favours.

They should have finished with Reload.

I wonder if there will be/or is a Metallica documentary (not 'Some kind of monster'). A doco about Metallica's early conception to now, with old and new interview/concert footage etc...

The slow chugging Metallica - the ones who wrote some of the coolest riffs around - have disappeared, and in their place is desperation. Shame. Although "props" to them for being highly professional and quite funny about the bass thing...
