Just got some interesting info about Graspop festival in belgium:
Satch is coming to Belgium, Europe 22th of June.

I am sure lots of people will be very very pleased with this. The chance for all those who missed him last year ;)

It's not official yet, but hopefully it will be very soon :D

Other bands that will play are Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Korn, Ozzy Osbourne, Lamb of God, etc etc

Omg Joe, it was great show yesterday evening!
A bit on the shortish side, (1 hour gig) but an intense one.
As usual the playing was spot on, just a bit loud. I had to take out my ear plugs cause all I could hear was the drums punching loud but no clear lead guitar...
It looked like Dave gained some weight, I might be wrong, could also be his hairdo / hairconditioner that gave me this impression hehe....
Lol, you should have seen the faces. It was a Metal Meeting, but some never heard of Satch and the comments I heard were all like WOOW, mouths wide open, drewling included. I am so proud that I'm a fan... :P

ps: Did I ever tell that Galen is actually a very funny guy ?
ps2: Joe if you read this (and I know you do), please come back to Belgium soon, and play some more, play some more, play some more!!!

Hey Kris!!! Glad to know you made it safe and sound!!! And that you enjoyed the show :)

You didn't mention getting to hook up with Joe, so I'm guessing that didn't happen, sorry for that :(

So what did Galen do that was so funny? And yes, he is, I agree, LOL!!

Before and during the gig I was on the first row, on the left side cause there's Joe's spot. ;)
So I did pay special attention to the sound check, Galen was just having a blast with the crew I think :)
So was Mick, confusing everyone with a setlist, then five minutes before the start another setlist... LOL
Mick has taken over Joe's buckhat style, it looks nice on him I must say :)

Basically I did meet with Joe, Jeff, Dave and Galen, on an emotional level : they have touched my heart once again and they 'SATCHED BOOGIED' all over me, I still smell it .... Yihaa!!!

Even more, I have been playing my guitar all day :rock2:

Next Graspop features Iron Maiden (my favourite Band), Judas Priest (they're gods), Whitesnake and others. I only hope Joe is coming again, this would be the best lineup for me I've ever imagined!
