I could have sworn I started a thread about this disc already, but I can't seem to find it...

Man, power metal isn't really my thing, but these guys have been going in more of a symphonic prog metal veign for the last couple albums, and the results absolutely own. Ghost Opera is probably my favorite release of the year thus far, and this is speaking as a Tool fan who actually liked 10,000 Days, lol.

Here's the opening single - I have the special edition CD/DVD version of this album which is worth grabbing because 1.) It's cheap, 2.) has this video as well as a badassed "making of" which is really impressive from a technological standpoint, and 3.) has a bonus track called "The Pendulous Fall" which may actually be the best song on the disc.

Also, just for kicks, here's the opening track from "The Black Halo," their album immediately before it. Phenominal song.
