Title: Wolf2

gruskada - August 27, 2007 02:20 PM (GMT)
I'm sure everyone here knows of wolf2's posts on T2J. Joe recently asked him where he was from (it is really sad that he appears too far gone to realize that Joe was talking to him). Anyway, being the researcher that I am, I spent two minutes and found his phone number, and location (from the number) - North Bay, Ontario, Canada, and then easily found his email as well. And I think I know his real name, too.

It's really interesting to read his earlier posts on Satriani.com, as he kind of makes sense. What's more interesting is that plugging another one of his nicknames into Google, I found lots of other posts by him, all confirming that he's in Canada, but all are posts that make a lot of sense (though are still a little strange).

His posts are a bit annoying (though I always find myself reading them...), but I don't want to post this info on Satriani.com, as I don't want to instigate people calling him up or emailing him, even though he did leave that info pretty wide open...

Wolf2 is just an anomaly to me. An engima. He completely baffles me, he sounds and types like some nutjob who's allowed to post on the internet . Whenever I go there I see like 5 posts by him and people don't even try to respond to him or even acknowledge that he's even there, ever, and yet he keeps on going on and on and on. Real 'far gone'. It creeps me out. Sure some people need to post about their day, but come on!

I tried reading them and tried to make sense of it, but they just seem too bizzarre.

It is very strange

So, Dave, from your research do you think there's any real link to him and Stallone / Vasso / the Rambo movies?

His posts are generally entertaining for me, in a weird kind of way.

Didn't he get booted a few years back, hence wolf2?

Doesn't seem like it, but I only spent about a total of five minutes, actually. He seems to be into electronics, and has a short temper. I don't know about him getting booted, but I wouldn't doubt it.

Check out this post from somebody on hardware site, talking about wolfie (pretty sure this is the same one):

"You truly must be the most impatient belligerent temper tantrum brat I have ever had the privilege of putting up with. If you would have spent more time working the problem rather than wasting space on the internet with your useless rant, you might have actually solved your problem and spared us your incredible stupidity and child-like behavior."

I like the "wasting space on the internet with your useless rant" part. But I agree - I think I'd miss his posts if he stopped B)
