Title: Joe's Enigmatic Mode

nickthelefty - December 21, 2007 05:23 PM (GMT)
I had a couple questions about this enigmatic mode, since it seems to be rather enigmatic....lol I had to do that.
anyways I heard that he uses this for Hordes of Locusts and The Enigmatic from Not of this Earth. Is this true?(I'm certain he uses it in The Enigmatic, hence the name)
also,is this a scale or a mode?someone told me it was a scale.

Enigmatic is a scale... there are modes of the enigmatic.. i don't know if he uses it in hordes of locusts. How ever he does use it in The Enigmatic (he uses E enigmatic i think for it)

Cool man thanks hehe this scale sounds really weird if you try it with locrian.....well it sounds weird anyways lol

Well i think its because Locrian is based around a diminished chord.. which gives it that unusual "creepy" sorta sound.

Enigmatic Scale
Mode: Enigmatic

That cant make sense .. can't be scale and a mode :P Its a scale in this situation. Its only a mode depending on how its used in the song.
