Anyone take a close look at the podcast for "overdriver" and see his JSX there? Looks like there is a little switch of some sorts above the 2 input jacks... and I know its not the channel selection switch either.
Any theories? lol

Yes you are right,there is a small switch in the amp.....unfortunately I have no idea what is this...

Some of Joe's personal heads are just modded with internal LED lighting, it could just be a light switch.

Edit: Nevermind, after watching the vid I see the light switch is on the back.

hey i noticed not only is there a switch there, but when i looked at musiciansfriend.com and also guitarcenter.com there aren't even two input jacks on the models on their site, just one input and no switch obviously, is there another model out there with two inputs?

I hadn't noticed that before. I'm sure mine has two inputs (high & low) but the pics shown on the peavey site show just one.

I don't think I'm imagining it, I'll have to check later.

that pdf only has one input, your talking about the far right hand side right? that's the only input i see in that document

combo has 2, hi and low inputs

is the combo a different model?

The picture on the front of the pdf document shows 1 input, but go to page 5 and it shows 2 inputs, high and low gain.

I bought my head when they first came out and mine has two inputs. One high, and one low.

My JSX head also has the high and low inputs. If you plug into both inputs, they both operate as low gain.

So can you use both of them simaltaniously ?

The stock photos of the JSX were taken before the final prototype. I believe Joe and Peavey added the low gain input last minute before production.....
