I know I have to wait to post 50 messages to access the Bootleg Area, but can someone tell me what's inside, and in particulary if theres any "Joe Satriani" era recordings (1996) ?

To my taste, Joe's recent recordings are not always superb, but when he plays live, he's incredible.

I remembered he played Killer Be Bop in Paris 1996... Does anyone know if there's a live recording of that song somewhere (not necessarly Paris...).

The bootleg zone just has lots of audio and video boots, some great quality, and some not so great. Not too much action there lately, so I think lots of the links are dead.

Hey peeps, sorry to jump in here but I am new and need help please. I am looking for these glasses that Joe's wearing on this pic Does anyone know please? At the same time if you know the details of the guitar he has also would be fab fab fab. My b/f is a massive fan and I want to get one for him

I can't find the exact model, because they change all the time, but he usually wears Oakley Eye Jackets (the big oval on the side is the Oakely logo).

The guitar you see on the picture is an Ibanez JS1200 CA.

And the glasses are indeed Brand 'Oakley'
