Hey i dont know how many of you know Guthrie Govan but i think he's someone you ought to know. His album "Erotic Cakes" is brilliant and i cant stop listening to it. Satriani had this to say "totally freakin' awesome!!!? this CD put a grin on my face a mile wide!"

Guthrie is one of the people when you watch and listen to him you go, DAMN. and what I love about him is that he's got melody and everything else.

Guthrie is a monster player.. i have been listening to erotic cakes for about ayear now ,, its a great record, and the playing is some of the best i have ever heard

On another note he also happens to be a really good teacher. I got a hold of his books (The Creative guitar) and i have to say its phenomenally good. After seeing him play i kinda realised how bad i really was, now all i do is practice and i'm glad i have those books.
