Title: Super Colossal Tone Try 1

FenixBG - April 28, 2008 09:20 AM (GMT)
OK, I did not know where to put this, as this is a sample.

Dispite of the title I was just fooling around with some stuff here and I was thinking whether this tone sounds good to others than me.

It is not close to the SC tone, and I was not looking for that, it is just that there is a second octave underneath, so I thought of the SC song and there it is - a sample.

Please, this is not about the playing, I know there are some wrong bends and wrong notes, because I cannot play it, just by ear. Please comment the tone itself.

Thanks! :)

I dont like the tone to be honest, it sounds very flat and too much computer like.

What did u use for recording ?

Thanks. Finally!

uhm, a computer. I was just testing some free vst and the demo of the new revalver

the free vst amp if here

but this is mostly the revlaver III with its Octapus effect.

^_^
Anybody else? If you do not like it - say it. That is the purpose of this thread after all! ;)

ps. oh, there is nothing for the impendance difference and such. No DI, no Firewire, no mixer...
i need one!

It's not a tone I would use, but you could write a song that uses that tone. It sound like it could be used as a lead sound, switching back to another tone for the rest of a song. Just an opinion.

Hmmm, it could use some reverb or delay, it's a bit too flat.
Other then that the sound ain't bad..
