Title: Recording backing tracks

corza - July 10, 2005 02:22 AM (GMT)
Hey everyone

Does anyone know how i would, or what i may use, to slow the tempo down on backing tracks before i burn them on cd.

I know there are programs that can slow the tempo down when playing the cd but im looking at slowing the track down before i burn it.

Thank
Corza

Hi there, you might have some luck with goldwave, it should be able to do what you want and I think it's free to download. Hope this helps!

if you use midi you can do that with cakewalk, If you have mp3 tracks, then you need sound editor like cool edit and transpose the track without changing the tempo.

Nero Wave Editor included to Nero Burning Rom has all that you need.
