Unfortnatley i have only seen him onc and it was in G3, i am 15 so I was never able to see him. :( but the show was great. I don't think i'll see him any soon because i live in Mexico... :angry:

I think that's all of them......and I think that's the order.

We met Joe and UJR after the G3 gig and got things signed and a photo with me and Joe pulling huge cheesey grins. Met Mike Manning after the SBM gig and he gave me a pick, he's a cool guy. Then I met Mike before and after the last G3 gig and he gave me a pick there too. Then after the gig I met Joe, Steve, Galen and Matt.

Joe is the coolest guy to talk to and they are the greatest gigs to go to.

1. 1996 in Sopot/Poland during "Joe Satriani" Tour, me pants felt down...
2. 2002 in Nurnberg/Germany during "Strange Beautiful Music" Tour, the whole me felt down...
3. 2004 in Warsaw/Poland during G3 Satch/Vai/Fripp Tour, my impression was "I loved him, now it's time to start to hate him for beeing so damn good... " :)

At 2002 I got to meet Joe and his family, we went to the Acropolis together, had lunch, chated, went a little site-seeing.

At 2004 Joe had arranged a aftershow pass for me, so I got to see him and his family again for a few minutes.

I have taped both shows, Pistoia on video.

Unfortunately the audio is poor, recorded with a cheep mini cassette recorder.
The video is pretty good considering the fact that I was in the distance and had to use zoom quite a lot. My cassette finished though earlier so I missed 3 Satch songs and 3 G3 songs. I did manage to tape all the Vai part.

none...but his wife is singaporean ( chinese like me ) So he is pretty well known here.

I have met with Joe personally each time he's come to Kansas City since last G3... now, that is not exactly all. There was G3, Mick took me and my wife backstage to his bus, we talked a while, and then went to say hey to Steve. Then Joe returned to promote his new album doing a radio spot, I enjoyed the company of him again by eating BBQ ribs in the studio and chit chatted again. Then he came back in 04 again for the Deep Purple concert, did a radio spot, which I was there as well. Funny thing is... he remembers like everything. Very smart guy... Then he of course came back to promote the JSX amp and played basically right down the street. I met up with him when his "CLIC" pulled in with rental cars backstage in Lenexa, KS.

I don't ask or should say, don't like asking for autographs. But I usually get something for a friend.

So each time I've seen him play... I've been on the sides with the likes of Mike Manning, Gary the bus driver.(funny guy), or Mick....oh yeah and one time a police officer...lol.

I've seen him twice, the first time was when he was on the G3 tour in Atlanta with Steve Vai and John Petrucci (best show EVER!) and the second was also in Atlanta when he was touring with Dream Theater and King's X.

Unfortunately, I just missed him when he played right down the road for the Anaheim show that he's broadcasting ( I was to busy planning for the Steve Vai show a few days later and found out to late). The next time I see him I'm planning on meeting him.

Well I saw him 5 times so far and I hope it was not the end:

I've seen Joe 3 times but 2 of those were the tour for Blue Dream because we were lucky enough to have him come back through on the tour.

i ´ve seen him twice and the first time i had to go to los angeles to watch him play because he doesn't come that often to mexico

2 G3's and an evening with Joe last fall. Like axeshredder said, the "evening with..." was unbelieveable, 2.5+ hours of pure Joe. My son and I were in the 5th row on Joe's side of the stage so we got to watch him pretty close for the whole show. Incredible live performance, especially the way he did War, amazing touch and feeling in those bends. Will definitely do the backstage thing next time he's in town too. - eric

Seen him twice. Last time was with the G3 tour with Vai and Fripp.
Satch and Vai were awesome. Mind you some of Vai's playing was out of this world. An honourable mention has to go to Andy Timmons aswell, what a guitarist, I never knew he was so good. B)

Less said about Fripp's contribution, the better. Some liked it, I wanted to stick his delay set-up where the sun don't shine!!!! :fuckyou:

Alas .. only once - in Melbourne March 2005. Hopefully he will be back again soon!

I can't wait to see Joe again. Hopefully I'll be a little closer to the stage this time.

BTW, got my Vai tickets, just 10 rows from the front! :rock2:
