Description: sustain
mrwah - August 9, 2005 04:57 AM (GMT)
i have read that joe actualy use these to increase his sustain
(may be past tense as its been a while since reading this)...
wondering if anyone has info on this or use or tried themselves..
kinda costly for a metal clamp.worth it if it works i guess.

I've read about it in GuitarPlayer magazine, and the guy who reviewed it said that it acctaly adds a litle bit of sustain and fatens up the tone but everything is very suptile but notisable.
He allsaw said that it's very hard to find. What's the price for it?
mrwah - August 10, 2005 06:09 AM (GMT)
they have a few at my local store....$24.95 USD was the price
i was trying to find the article where joe mentioned using it,
if so i will post it...i also have read about it in Guitarplayer magazine
I have decent sustain but i am thinking of trying one just to see if i can squeeze
a little bit more out of my notes.

You can  ...i own a Fat Finger and I agree completely with the guy from GP magazine...but it's pretty useless on a Les Paul-type guitar though

Joe only used this one on his pearly chromeboy! Probably because he had Seymour Duncans in it.
